This Privacy Policy explains how Konvertr, the free version of the app published by Mishmash Labs, handles information.
Konvertr is designed to be a fast, offline unit converter. The free version focuses on conversion features and includes an in-app option that can open the Konvertr Pro listing in the relevant app store if you choose to upgrade. Core conversions use bundled data and do not need a network connection.
Summary
- Konvertr does not require you to create an account.
- Konvertr does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details.
- Konvertr does not sell your personal information.
- Konvertr does not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or remote crash-reporting SDKs.
- Konvertr stores certain preferences locally on your device so the app can remember how you like to use it.
- If you tap the upgrade option in the free version, the app can open the Konvertr Pro listing or App Store search in an external app.
- Android release builds may check for updates through Google Play's in-app update service.
Information We Collect
Konvertr does not collect personal information from you for transmission to Mishmash Labs.
The free version does not upload your conversion inputs or preferences to a server operated by Mishmash Labs. Store services and external apps may separately process information when their features are used, as described below. An offline converter does not mean that the operating system or app store never communicates with its own services.
Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Konvertr stores limited app data locally on your device to support app functionality and improve your experience. This may include:
- app preferences such as decimal points, precision, sorting mode, visual layout preferences, and initial page state;
- local usage-related settings such as category usage counts used to make the app experience more convenient;
- locally bundled conversion data required for the converter to work offline.
- the first-open time and a one-time in-app review request flag.
This information is stored in local app storage. Your operating system or a backup service you enable may include app data in a device backup under that service's settings and privacy practices.
What the Free Version Does Not Do
The free version of Konvertr does not:
- create user accounts;
- collect contacts, photos, videos, microphone audio, precise location, or payment card data;
- use embedded advertising networks;
- use embedded analytics or user tracking tools;
- sell or rent personal information;
- require camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, or location permissions for normal use.
External Links and Upgrade Flow
The free version includes an upgrade action that may open the Konvertr Pro listing on Google Play or the Apple App Store using an external application on your device. If you choose to tap that option, you are subject to the relevant store's terms, privacy practices, and data handling for that external service. Konvertr does not receive your payment-card details.
Konvertr does not control how app stores or other external apps process data once you leave the app.
Clipboard and App Updates
If you choose a copy action, the app writes the selected conversion result to the system clipboard. Other apps or device clipboard services may be able to read or synchronize clipboard content under your device settings. The app does not upload copied values to Mishmash Labs.
Android release builds may automatically check for and download available updates through Google Play's in-app update service. Google Play handles the technical and store-account information needed for that service. Conversion values and local preferences are not included in an update check.
Relevant third-party notices include Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and Apple's Privacy Policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/. Those providers may process information outside your country.
In-App Reviews
After at least one week, Konvertr may request a native Google Play or Apple App Store review once. The first-open time and request flag are stored locally. The store handles reviews under its own privacy practices. Mishmash Labs does not receive store-account details or whether you submitted a rating through this request, and conversion inputs are not included in it.
Data Retention
Because the free version stores app preferences locally on your device, that information remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app, subject to platform backup behavior. Clearing app data does not delete clipboard copies, device backups or records held by an app store.
Your Choices
You can control local data stored by Konvertr by:
- clearing the app's storage through your device settings;
- uninstalling the app;
- avoiding the external upgrade link if you do not want to open an app store from within the app.
- avoiding copy actions or clearing the clipboard if you do not want a result available outside the app;
- managing device backups through your operating system or backup provider.
Children's Privacy
Konvertr is a general-purpose utility app and is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect app changes, legal requirements, or release updates. When the policy changes, the updated version may be posted with a new effective date.

Support records are retained only as long as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations. Do not send private conversion values unless needed for your request.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, or to complain to a data-protection authority. We cannot access your on-device app data or delete records held by an app store or backup provider.
